There are no accounts, no monthly fees, and no per-page pricing. You pay a flat $2.99 each time you finish a file.

Every tool action costs a flat $2.99 in US dollars. That single fee unlocks one finished outcome, whether that means downloading an edited PDF or activating a tracked share link. There is no subscription, no free trial that bills you later, and no usage-based pricing. If you don't use Pdfmark in a given week or month, you pay nothing.

Do I need to sign up or create an account?

No. Pdfmark has no sign-up, no password, and no profile. You open a tool, do your work, pay at Stripe Checkout when you finish, and download or share the result. Because there is nothing to log into, there is also nothing to remember the next time you use the site.

Is the editing free if I don't download?

Yes. The editor is free to use for as long as you need it. You can add text, signatures, images, dates, and checkmarks, rearrange pages, and merge another PDF without paying anything. The $2.99 fee only applies when you download the finished file. If you don't download, you don't pay.

You can also reorder, rotate, and delete pages, and merge another PDF into the current document. The final file is rendered on our server when you pay, so what downloads is a clean PDF rather than a screenshot of the editor.

How does the send-and-track tool work?

You upload a PDF, pick a short share link, and optionally set a numeric access code for sensitive documents. After paying $2.99 through Stripe, the link goes live at pdfmark.net followed by your chosen slug. When your recipient opens the link, they enter their email to view the PDF in the browser. You get an email the moment they first open it, and a full engagement report 24 hours later showing pages viewed and time spent.

Are my PDFs private and secure?

Your PDFs are stored in Vercel Blob storage with random, unguessable identifiers, and we never look at, copy, OCR, or analyse the contents. All connections use HTTPS, and the final file is rendered on our server only after payment so the paywall cannot be bypassed. Payments are processed by Stripe, so credit card details never touch Pdfmark's servers.

How long do you keep my files?

Editor sessions are deleted automatically 24 hours after upload. Tracker share links and the PDF behind them are deleted 7 days after they are activated. Pending tracker uploads that never complete checkout are deleted after 30 minutes. Once a session or document expires, we have no copy and no way to recover it. Nothing about you is retained between sessions.

How is Pdfmark different from Adobe Acrobat or DocuSign?

Pdfmark is built for one-off PDF tasks. You don't sign up, don't pay a monthly subscription, and don't learn a dashboard. Adobe Acrobat and DocuSign are full document platforms with broad feature sets and recurring fees that make sense for daily use. If you only edit or send a few PDFs a year, Pdfmark is likely a better fit. If you handle PDFs every day at scale, a subscription product probably wins.

Does Pdfmark work on mobile?

Yes. The editor and the tracker both run in any modern browser on phones, tablets, and desktops. There is nothing to install. The editor is most comfortable on a larger screen because of the dragging and resizing, but it works on touch devices.

What file types does Pdfmark accept?

Pdfmark accepts standard PDF files for upload. The editor accepts files up to 25 MB, and the tracker accepts up to 50 MB. For signatures and images placed inside the editor, common raster formats (PNG, JPG) are supported.

Can I get a refund?

Accepted Answer

Because each $2.99 charge unlocks an irreversible result (a downloaded file you keep, or a share link that may already have been opened), payments are non-refundable except where required by law or where Pdfmark has materially failed to deliver the service. If something went wrong on our end, email legal@terrasightcorp.com with the Stripe receipt and we'll make it right.
